Spiritual Communion of Little Rose:
My Jesus, I love You. I desire a million times that you
come into my soul. If my tongue cannot tell You at every
moment that I love You, at least may my heart repeat it
at every breath. Give me the grace to suffer while
loving You, and to love You while suffering and to feel
this love I have for You. 0 my Adored Jesus, I thank you
a million times over for having given Yourself to me in
Holy Communion and in my many Spiritual Communions.
Amen.
PRAYER FOR HOLINESS:
IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY, perfect model of sanctity,
take my soul and mold it according to Your sublime
perfections. Purify my heart and set it free from every
obstacle to holiness, so that detached from self and the
pleasures of sense, You may adorn it with the virtues
and perfection of YOUR OWN IMMACULATE HEART. Then lead
my soul to that divine intimacy which alone can satisfy
the immense capacity for love and union with which God
has created the human heart. From You I confidently hope
for this grace of holiness, and I entrust my eternal
destiny to YOUR IMMACULATE HEART. Amen. SUPPLICATION FOR
SINNERS "0 Lord Jesus, when I reflect upon the words
which Thou hast uttered: 'Many are called, but few are
chosen,' I fear and tremble for those I love, and I beg
Thee to look upon them with mercy; and behold, with an
infinite tenderness, Thou dost place their salvation in
my hands, for everything is assured to him who knows how
to suffer with Thee and for Thee. My heart bleeds under
the weight of affliction, but my will remains united to
Thine, and I cry out to Thee: Lord it is for them that I
want to suffer. . . I wish to mingle my tears with Thy
Precious Blood for the salvation of those I love! Thou
wilt not turn a deaf ear to my sorrowful cry . . . and
Thou wilt save them."

prayer, and ever since, I say it every day."--Marie-Rose

1943 INTRODUCTIQN TO THE LITANY The Charisms in Rose's
book are treated separately, but her virtues are not.
They are interwoven in her life and are not treated in
the abstract, but in a concrete form. For that reason
some cannot see them, especially the readers who are
completely absorbed in the external manifestations of
her spiritual life, but the reader who loves and seeks
living and concrete virtue sees them in her Charisms as
well as in her daily life. For instance, in Rose's
ecstasies Mrs. Evans saw the outward expression of her
Union with God. In the Contemplative State ecstasy
supposes Union which means not only purity of soul, but
a complete surrender of the soul to God's holy Will. She
saw in her stigmatization, the outward expression of her
Victim soul, the compendium of all virtues. In reading
"She Wears a Crown of Thorns" for the first time, all
the virtues of Rose's daily life appeared to Mrs. Evans.
She saw her patience, her spirit of forgiveness, her
kindness, her piety, her faith and her trust in God,
etc. etc.; they appeared to her so clearly that she
strung them up before her own eyes, ,or rather she
fanned them out in a litany to invoke her in their name.
This prayer will be of some use to all, if in reading
the marvels of Rose's mystical life they lose sight of
her virtues.

ANIMA CHRISTI:
Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of
Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. 0
good Jesus, hear me. Within Thy Wounds hide me. Permit
me not to be separated from Thee. From the malignant
enemy defend me. In the hour of my death call me. And
bid me come to Thee. That with Thy Saints, I may praise
Thee. Forever and ever. Amen.
PRAYER TO JESUS CRUCIFIED:
Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus, while before Your face I
humbly kneel, and with burning soul pray and beseech You
to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope
and charity, with true contrition for my sins, and a
firm purpose of amendment; While I contemplate with
great love and tender pity Your five precious wounds,
pondering over them within me, and calling to mind what
the prophet David put in Your mouth concerning You, O
Good Jesus: “They have pierced my hands and my feet;
they have numbered all my bones.” (Psalm 21: 17-18) May
the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of
God rest in peace. Amen.
Say five Our Fathers, five Hail Mary’s and five Glory be
to the Father, in honor of the Five Wounds of Jesus.
Marie Rose Ferron's Prayer in Honor of the Precious
Blood of Christ:
In life, Rose suffered immensely, and she bled from the
wounds she bore from the crown of thorns. She and those
who believed in her prayed in honor of the Precious
Blood of our Lord. Red cord was blessed in honor of the
Precious Blood of Christ. This cord was cut into small
pieces and became small crosses which were taped to
backings and passed out as relics. The cord had been
blessed in honor of the Precious Blood, and were
referred to as “Precious Blood Cord". Many prayed this
small prayer frequently to obtain graces, not only of
healing, but of faith and pardon for one’s sins. Cord of
the Precious Blood A pious and efficacious practice
recommended particularly to the sick, to glorify the
Precious Blood of our Divine Redeemer and draw down its
salutary benediction, is to wear the red cord blessed in
its honor.
PRAYER: Almighty and Everlasting God, Who
appointed Your only-begotten Son the Savior of mankind,
and who willed to be appeased by His Blood, grant us an
increase of charity; shed your blessings on us, that
whoever shall wear this cord may merit interior
contrition for his faults, be comforted in suffering and
delivered from all dangers of soul and body that we may
attain to life everlasting, through Jesus Christ our
Lord. Amen (50 days indulgence) We beseech You, O Lord,
help your servants whom You have redeemed by your
Precious Blood. (100 days indulgence each time for
Confraternity of Precious Blood Members. Imprimatur:
April 7, 1928)
