FOLLOWING THE READING OF THE
BOOK:
Special Directions for Making the Three Novenas in honor of Little Rose:
1st. Novena: Ask the grace to understand and appreciate the virtues of
Little Rose and her special mission on this earth.
2nd Novena: Ask for the grace to know and realize what God wants of me--my
own vocation and mission in life.
3rd Novena: Ask for the grace of reaching that degree of holiness which
God has planned for me.
Asking Favors of Little Rose:
Do not be afraid to ask for big favors or miraculous cures.
If you are
really humble and are actively intent upon your own spiritual
progress and
sanctification with strong faith and confidence in Little Rose, you may
expect that she will work wonders for you. On the other hand, if Little
Rose blesses you with some special manifestation or favor, do not imagine
for that reason that you are a saint. God helps all who have humble faith.
But you can be sure of one thing, God wants you to become a saint and you
will if you correspond faithfully to the graces, inspiration and helps
which He is giving you now and wants to give you even more abundantly
through Little Rose.
NOVENA TO "LITTLE ROSE"
0 Lord, in these days when souls are hungering for pleasure and
devoured
by greed, who refuse to renounce themselves to
"Take up their cross and
follow You".
You have raised in our midst Little Rose, who during her life kept her
eyes on the Passion and responding to Your call became a victim,
so that
she
might, as Saint Paul says, complete in herself the things that were
lacking in Your sufferings.(Col.1:24)
Touched with this excess of love and spirit of renunciation in a world of
ingratitude, You have vouchsafed, 0 Lord to bestow the Stigmata of Your
Sacred Wounds on your servant Rose.
We beseech You, 0 Lord, to make known the powerful intercession of Your
servant by hearing the prayers we are offering in union with hers. Grant,
not only the petition of this novena, but also the grace to follow You who
art the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Be in our midst, O Lord, as we unite our prayer with that of Little Rose.
Amen.
